Pre-Preparatory
Start Their Musical Journey With Joy.
Ignite your child’s curiosity in a nurturing, play-based setting. Our Pre-Preparatory classes nurture a love for music through movement, songs, and games. Children build confidence and foundational skills—like rhythm and tempo—while making friends and discovering their own unique voices.
Children who will be ages 5-6 by September 1 of the 2025/26 school year are eligible for our Pre-Preparatory level classes, no audition necessary.
Ages: 5 – 6
Prerequisite: None (No Audition)
Days: Tue, Wed, Thu, or Sat
Schedule: 45 mins / week
Focus: Music games, movement & rhythm basics.
How to Register

After creating your account, add your child to your profile.
Once your child is added, you will automatically receive a registration email with detailed instructions on completing registration, tuition, financial aid, scheduling, and more.
Follow the steps in the registration email to complete the full enrollment process.

Financial Aid
At Brooklyn Youth Chorus, we believe that every child with a passion for singing deserves the opportunity to shine. We understand that families have different financial situations, so we offer a variety of options to make our program accessible to everyone. 100% of our our families receive subsidized tuition, and 35% of families receive additional need-based financial aid.
Our tuition structure includes flexible payment plans, allowing you to pay annually or in manageable monthly installments. More importantly, we have a comprehensive need-based financial aid program and are committed to working with families who need assistance ensuring there are no financial barriers to access. Simply submit a financial aid application, and our team will be happy to help you explore the options that best fit your family's needs. We encourage all interested singers to apply, regardless of their financial circumstances. Finance should never be a barrier to participation.
