Training Division / Ages 10-12
Pre-Teen I & II
Building upon the foundational skills developed in our Preparatory divisions, our Pre-Teen division welcomes singers aged 10-12 to further refine their musical abilities and explore more complex choral repertoire.
We understand that this age is a pivotal time for young musicians, a period where they are eager to expand their knowledge and embrace new challenges. Our experienced conductors guide them through a structured curriculum that reinforces healthy vocal technique, deepens their understanding of music theory, and fosters a collaborative ensemble experience.
Students will discover a wider range of musical styles, learn to sing in parts, delve into the world of contemporary music, and even participate in premiering newly commissioned music, expanding their musical horizons beyond traditional choral repertoire. They will have the opportunity to showcase their progress and passion in our cherished Holiday Harmonies and Spring Sings concerts, sharing their musical growth with family and friends.
