Jasmin Villatoro
Conductor
Jasmin Villatoro is a choral music educator based in New York. She currently serves as a conductor with the Brooklyn Youth Chorus and teaches 7th–9th grade Choir at Memorial Junior High School in the Valley Stream Central High School District.
As a vocalist, Ms. Villatoro serves as an Alto Choral Scholar at St. John’s of Lattingtown. She is a graduate of Westminster Choir College at Rider University, where she earned a Bachelor of Music Education with a concentration in Vocal Performance. She also holds an Associate Degree in Music from Suffolk Community College.
She is an active member of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) and the National Association for Music Education (NAfME). Ms. Villatoro previously held conducting fellowships with the Princeton Girl Choir and Berkshire Choral International, where she further developed her skills as a choral conductor.
Ms. Villatoro’s passion for choral artistry began in third grade and continues to inspire her work as an educator, conductor, and vocalist.
