Fresh off our powerful run of Port(al) at the Agger Fish Building, Brooklyn Youth Chorus is thrilled to keep the portal open in a new chapter of this innovative choral theater experience!
Presented by and at PS21 Center for Contemporary Performance, Port(al) delves into the rich history of the Brooklyn Navy Yard, from its bustling port days to its ongoing evolution. Through a confluence of song, movement, and immersive storytelling, we guide audiences through the currents of time, where echoes of the past, the realities of the present, and the dreams of the future converge.
Co-created by Dianne Berkun Menaker, Paola Prestini, Jad Abumrad, and Jessica Grindstaff, and partially developed in residency at PS21 earlier this year, we're excited to share this journey with you once again.
