Christine Reimer

Christine Reimer has had an extensive career as a singer, instructor, pianist, and music director.  As a professional singer, she has performed over 30 roles with 25 different companies in the U.S. and internationally.  Christine began her teaching career working with multiple children’s programs: TADA! Youth Theater, Berkeley Carroll Creative Arts Program, Bronxville Middle/High School vocal programs, as well as the Brooklyn Youth Chorus.  Her pedagogical certifications include obtaining a Level III Certification in Somatic VoiceworkSM  The LoVetri Method from The Institute for Contemporary Commercial Music Vocal Pedagogy, and completing advanced courses in Vocal Health and Comparative Pedagogy through "The Oren L. Brown Professional Development Program", sponsored by the New York Singing Teacher's Association.

From 2003-2020, she served on the faculty of New York University as both a voice teacher and a coach/pianist. Having a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance, Ms. Reimer has also had an extensive number of accompanying and music directing opportunities, including Music Director/Assistant Director for many NYU productions and summer programs, as well as assisting with Opera and Musical Theater workshops.

From 2018-2024, Christine served on the Faculty of Adlephi University as a coach/accompanist for both vocal and instrumental students, coaching them in preparation for their recitals, and then accompanying their performances.

Ms. Reimer is currently retired from her past University employment, but continues to have a small private voice studio in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
