Brooklyn Youth Chorus will be holding our first in-person Gala since 2019 on May 4th from 6-9PM at The Agger Fish Building in The Navy Yard. This year's Gala will be a celebration and reflection of our Brooklyn community and we invite you to join us at our biggest fundraiser of the year.
You can purchase tickets or donate to support financial aid and scholarships for hundreds of New York City young people; fund cutting-edge artistic projects; and help grow our college readiness program!

Rideshare: We encourage you to arrive via rideshare as it will provide the most direct route to our event.

Public Transit: The venue is accessible from the A/C (High Street) and F (York Street) trains, the B67 (Sands Street/Navy Street) bus, and Citi bikes. All stations are a 5-15 minute walk to the venue.
Driving: There is parking at the back of the venue closest to the water. Staff will be available to direct you to the appropriate space once you arrive.
Regardless of your arrival method, to access the Agger Fish Building you will have to pass through a Navy Yard security gate. Let the gate attendant know you are there for the Brooklyn Youth Chorus event. There is no need to show a pass or ID.
COVID-19 Protocol: For the safety of all members of our community, proof of vaccination is required for all guests 5 and older. The building has high ceilings, and weather allowing we will keep the large doors open for ventilation purposes. Masks are optional for all guests with proof of vaccination.
Dress Code: In line with In Motion's design as a “casually avant-garde” social event, the dress code is festive Brooklyn chic. As noted under COVID-19 Protocol, the building has high ceilings and the doors will remain open (weather permitting), so dressing in layers is encouraged for your comfort. The floor of the warehouse is not completely level so narrow heels are not recommended.
Food & Beverage: Our local Brooklyn vendors have included vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options for anyone with dietary restrictions. If you have additional allergies or restrictions, please check with the vendors on arrival to see if their food is safe for your consumption.
