Tuition & Financial Aid

Tuition
BYCA charges an annual tuition for its program.  Payment may be made annually or monthly.   BYCA provides financial aid and scholarships to nearly 30% of its members.   Please do not hesitate to audition for BYCA due to financial concerns; BYCA works with each family to make the program possible for each family.  Please contact our Business Manager at 718-243-9447 ext. 243 for current rates.  There is an annual registration fee of $45 that each family must pay and for the senior choruses, there is a refundable uniform deposit.

Financial Aid
The Chorus maintains an extensive need-based financial aid policy. We encourage all interested singers, regardless of economic circumstances, to audition. BYCA provides Financial Aid for tuition based on need, with consideration given to a child’s attendance and performance record. A Financial Aid Application is required along with supporting financial documents. Applications are reviewed twice annually by the Financial Aid Committee.  Financial Aid is available for elective classes and private lessons in addition to chorus tuition.
