Electives

BYCA helps students become accomplished vocalists and choral singers. For those who want to further broaden and deepen their musicianship, the Academy offers private lessons and a number of special elective classes.

Elective offerings vary from season to season and have included:

Musicianship lab (sight-singing, ear-training, theory)
Solo Performance in Classical Literature
Musical Theater Skills and Performance
Vocal Jazz and Improvisation
Private voice and instrumental lessons
